LongExpo Pro - Tripod-free long exposure and slow shutter camera App Reviews

I was looking for an app to get good low light photos by slowing down the actual shutter speed of my iPhone camera when I can across this. Initially I was disappointed until I realized exactly what it did! Then I fell in love with it! The pro version offers everything you need to take long exposures of beautiful landscapes or whatever it is youre shooting, and get top quality results out of it. Quite heavy on battery drain, so beware when youre on hikes or away from power for a long time. Has a bug when using crop on either the sharp or blur layer in edit mode, the crop should be disabled if you arent editing the whole pic. Aside from that, great stuff!

It is a smart app which does the function that iPhone camera app misses: Low light and long exposure photography.

I dont usually rate apps but this one is so outstanding and complements what I can do with my iPhone camera, I wanted to pass along my support! If you take any pictures at all on your iPhone, you should have this app. Check out all the different options available. I attest to no financial or other bias or association with this application or its producers.

Great app! I love the features. Sadly, the low light mode does not work with iOS 8 on iPhone 6.

Low light and other things dont work on ios8.

Worked beautifully with iOS 7. Now, completely non-functional.

A fun app, the best of its kind, that can extend the camera and capture the motion of water or other "long exposure" type of effects.

Ive been looking for an app like this for quite some time and usually I would never buy and app but I definitely feel fine spending just one dollar to have a ton of fun. I do a lot of photography, and I always was sad that I couldnt take long exposure on my iPhone, BUT NOW I CAN AND IT FEELS GREAT.

App’s OK.. more a video to still than true long exposure. works though. but... BIG ISSUE!! purchased the “high Rez” pack (thought it would come with the “pro version wouldn’t you? not!!!) take a picture in a higher rez.. works , but when you go to do another it resets to 640 and the 2 higher rez settings disappear from the choices.. completely shut down phone and restart and they are back.. VERY annoying!!

I like the capabilities, even tho some of the edits & effects are not intuitive. Biggest issue is that auto save doesnt work & manually saving slows down ability to take several long expo shots on a row to select/edit later.

It used to work. Now it doesn’t. I get a black screen, and get this message that auto exposure has timed and to try again if I try to take a photo. Of course the screen is black I am just testing, but I don’t understand why I get a black screen. All the controls are there. And yes I have the cover off the lens.

Using iPhone 5c update 8.3. I went to use it today. Turned it on, and all I see is black. Save your money.

If you are expecting a dslr style long exposure where it equally exposes the frame for whatever duration, dont get this app. Also if you think you can control ISO, you cant. I cant tell what it actually does. Waste of my dollar.
